Project Schedule is one of the project management deliverable you can create with our project management lifecycle software.
Project Schedule identifies the schedule of each work package and their inter-dependencies, using a PERT Chart. Project manager can use the schedule to plan and implement project tasks and to monitor the progress of the project.
This article shows you how to develop a Project Schedule.
Activity 1: Perform Project Scheduling
Complete the PERT chart
With the use of a PERT chart, identify dependencies between tasks, assign resources for each task, look at overall dates, and identify start and end dates for the tasks. A set of tasks are generated based on the work packages defined in the Work Breakdown Structure. In this step, you are required to connect the tasks to represent their inter-dependencies, and to enter their planned start and end dates.
