A7 – Architecture Meta-Data

The A7 Viewpoint gives the overall specification of architecture meta-data.

Usage

The intended usage of the A7 includes:

• View tagging.
• Architecture element tagging.

Creating an Architecture Meta-Data table

To create an Architecture Meta-Data table:

1. Click on Architecture Meta-Data table in the Action Artifact area, and then select Create New Diagram.
2. Type the diagram name and press Enter.
3. This opens a table where you can create and manage architecture meta-data. Click on New Architecture Meta-Data Entry above the table to create a new row.
4. Select the element to define.
5. Enter the definition, assumption and alias (if necessary).
