A4 – Methodology Used

The A4 Viewpoint specifies the methodology used for the architecting activities. This methodology is described in NAFv4 Chapter 2.

Usage

The intended usage of the A4 includes:

  • Architecture project management.

Creating a Methodology Used table

To create a Methodology Used table:

  1. Click on Methodology Used in the Action Artifact area.
  2. This opens the table of Methodology Used. Click on New Package above the table to create a new row of architecture description.
  3. Enter the name of the methodology.
  4. Select the architecture(s) that uses the methodology.
