PV-3 presents the mapping from programs, projects, portfolios, or initiatives to capabilities as a matrix. The rows are Capabilities and the columns are the programs, projects, portfolios, or initiatives. An X in a cell indicate where the capability is supported by the programs, projects, portfolios, or initiatives whereas a blank can indicate that it does not.
Creating a Project to Capability Mapping
To create a Project to Capability Mapping table:
- Click on Project to Capability Mapping in the Action Artifact area.
- This opens a chart with ActualProjects and Capabilities listed as rows and columns, respectively.
- Double click on a cell and select X to indicate where the capability is supported by the programs, projects, portfolios.
